“The American Psychoanalytic Association requires that the confidentiality of all information related to patients or treatment that may be conveyed in any of the educational programs, workshops, presentations or discussions in connection with its annual scientific meeting be strictly maintained and that such information may not be further distributed or conveyed outside of these educational meetings.
Attendance at these meetings is dependent upon the participant’s agreement to maintain this confidentiality and that failure to do so would constitute a breach of ethical principles (Section IV, 7) if one is a member of APsaA, and cause for legal action if a nonmember.”
I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in APsaA’s events and activities as my own free and intentional act, and I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation in these events. I give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and that I am, as a result, able to participate in APsaA’s meeting, and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being and safety.
By registering for and attending APsaA’s events, I hereby agree that I accept the terms stated above and indemnify and hold harmless APsaA, its affiliates and their respective directors, employees and agents (including, without limitation, any agent acting on its behalf) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from attendance at APsaA’s events.
